Red eyed drones

27/4/2013

Hi all,
Today I was helping a friend with one of his hives and we saw a red-eyed drone. I couldn't find much about it on- line other than it seems to be a rare genetic mutation.
Does anyone have any more  information on the subject?
Thanks
Jacqui
