Small Hive Beetle Returns to Italy
Small Hive Beetle has reappeared in Italy. In autumn 2014, the Small Hive Beetle (SHB) was found in southern Italy. Prompt action seemed to have stopped its spread, but last month it was found again in Calabria, much to everyone's disappointment. SHB is a real pest and can destroy comb and colonies alike
