Mite Away Quick Strips "MAQS"

Picture
•Each strip contains the varroacide formic acid
•The strips are designed to be easily placed on top of the hive brood frames.
•There the slow release of formic acid vapour targets Varroa mites while they feed and develop on honey bee brood.

Timing of Treatment
•For Overwintering: Treat at end of the honey flow, preferably while the last super is still on.
• For Honey: Maximize healthy colony populations by treating with MAQS 4 to 6 weeks before main honey flows. Have a super on.

MAQS can be sourced from Paul O Sullivan at Bee Supplies
